🌅 Sunset Beach Cleanup 2026-09-20

Meet us at Blue Moon Over Avila between 5pm - 6pm for Food & Drinks. We'll be there chillin as folks trickle in. People tend to show up late... It's Sunday - we get it.

Official beach cleanup starts at 6:00pm sharp (arrive before then or you'll miss the train). We typically split up into groups of two or three, then head separate ways and comb the beach.

What we'll do:

• snack, drink, chat
• split up into groups of 2 or 3
• elect your groups trash tracker
• spread out and make the beach all nice and pretty
• track what your group collects, as much as reasonable
• weight each groups bounty (prize?)
• separate trash, recycling, donatable items

Things you'll find / what to look for:

• generic trash, big & small
• beach toys (unless children are playing with them)
• stray towels, socks, shoes
• anything else obviously left behind

Provided gear:

• Buckets (trash)
• Bags (recycling, stray items)
• Grabber/Picker thingies
• Rubber gloves (good for sorting)
• Trash Tracker sheet (w/ clipboard & pen)

Anywho - come chill for a bit, meet awesome like-minded people, and do your part to help keep our precious beaches nice and clean. Every little bit counts, really. Even a tiny piece of trash - 🐠 a poor fishie will eat that!
